The IPL 2026 encounter between the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 26 was a low-scoring thriller at the Ekana Stadium, lucknow where both teams finished their 20 overs tied at 155. It was KKR eventually who clinched the victory in the thrilling super over context which was also the first for this edition of IPL 2026. Mohsin started beautifully pitching ball in right line & length dismantling the KKR top order during the Powerplay where he dismissed Tim Seifert (caught at cover) and KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane (outsmarted by extra bounce). After initial couple of wickets, he was called back by captain Pant to break partnership between Rovman Powell & Cameroon Green. He dismissed Powell with a sharp bouncer and later dismissed Cameron Green just as he was beginning to look threatening. He sealed his maiden IPL fifer on his final delivery by dismissing Anukul Roy (Ayush Badoni took catch). His spell included a wicket-maiden over, contributing to an impressive economy rate of 5.75 for the match
